Melissa earned my B.A. in Psychology from Coastal Carolina University. She continued on to earn her M.S. in Psychology with a major in Clinical/Counseling Psychology from Valdosta State University. During that time she worked as a psychometrist and as a mental health counselor- working with clients in both English and Spanish. She earned her Ph.D. in Counseling & Educational Psychology with an emphasis in Counselor Education & Supervision from the University of Nevada, Reno where she continued to see clients, and she supervised beginning counselors. Her passion is teaching psychology to, and working with, college students.
