** Food vendors provide a variety of food for all cultures and ethnicities.  Food Vendor spaces are currently full.  Interested Food Vendors must submit a Flea Market Vendor Application* with appropriate copies of current license(s) and or permit(s) to the Student Activities Office, Shima 101C.  Once the application is approved, the Food Vendor will be placed on a waiting list.  The Student Activities office will contact the Food Vendor when a space becomes available.

  • Early arrival is permitted in the Holt-1 parking lot, commencing at 12:00 a.m., midnight.
  • Parking in the aforementioned area must be in the prescribed arrangement assigned by the FM attendant present on the lot.  Early arrivals, midnight to 4:59 a.m., must pay a $5.00 parking fee.  All vehicles must have owners in attendance at all times or the vehicles are subject to ticketing or towing at the owners' expense.  All vehicles must be ready to advance when necessary.  Any vehicle not able to advance, due to malfunction or non-attendance, will lose line placement and must go to the end of the line or be permitted in line ahead of a vehicle which allows placement ahead of them.
  • All vehicles must be prepared to advance no later than 4:30 a.m.

Waste Removal and Fines

  • Vendors are responsible for their spaces, which must be inspected for cleanliness prior to leaving.
  • Removal of all garbage, including, but not limited to:  cups, paper, food, and sale items are the responsibility of the vendor.
  • Tree-wells must be kept clean, and items must not be hung on trees.
  • Tree-wells in a vendor's space are the responsibility of the assigned vendor, and must be kept clean according to FM rules.
  • Upon departure, FM staff must be contacted to inspect each area.
  • Failure to be inspected will result in being: placed on a noncompliance list; and a $25 waste removal fee imposed, which is due immediately, and must be paid prior to regaining admittance to vend in the future.
  • Access to the market will not be permitted until the fine has been paid.

Repeat Violations of Flea Market Rules

  • In order to run an effective, pleasant and profitable market for vendors, it is necessary to address repeat rule violations.  Please see schedule below:

           Schedule of Violations:

  1. First Violation:  Written Warning, plus any applicable fine(s).
  2. Second Violation:  Written letter of dismissal from the Flea Market for two (2) weeks, plus applicable fine(s).
  3. Third Violation:  Written letter of dismissal from the Flea Market for six (6) months, plus applicable fine(s).
  4. Fourth Violation:  Written letter of dimissal from the Flea Market for one (1) year, plus applicable fine(s).
  • Violations may be reviewed for appeal at a regularly scheduled ASBG meeting.  The hearing must be scheduled as an agenda item.  Please contact the ASBG at (209) 954-5484, for details.
  • All fines, payments of reservations, and violation enforcements shall be applicable while the hearing(s) take(s) place.
  • Vendors who violate Flea Market Regulations are not subject to refund privileges unless their appeal is upheld by a vote of the ASBG Board and specific refund value is expressed with the judgement.
