SALARIES

23.1 Salary Schedule The 1999-00 salary schedule is contained in Appendix C of this Agreement.

23.1.1 The 1999-2000 schedule reflects a 1.19% increase over the previous year.

23.1.2 The 2000-01 and 2001-02 salary schedules and implementation of recommendations of the classification study conducted in 1998 will be negotiated by the parties.

23.2 Longevity Increments

23.2.1 Effective July 1 of the ninth (9th) year of consecutive service, a longevity increase of two and one-half percent (2-1/2%) will be added to the employee's base salary.

23.2.2 Effective July 1 of the thirteenth (13th) year of consecutive service, a longevity increase of five percent (5%) will be added to the employee's base salary.

23.2.3 Effective July 1 of the seventeenth (17th) year of consecutive service, a longevity increase of seven and one-half percent (7-1/2%) will be added to the employee's base salary.

23.3.3 Effective July 1 of the twenty-first (21st) year of consecutive service, a longevity increase of ten percent (10%) will be added to the employee's base salary.
