Up To This Point

You should have read the following menu items or sections on your screen's left side. If you haven't, go to the Menu on your screen's left and read the content of the following:

  • Announcements. At the beginning of the semester, it only contains the Course Schedule but it is vital and you should print it out. It will always be in Announcements for your reference. Refer to it at least once a week. Others will follow.
  • Meet Your Instructor.
  • Course Information. You will be quizzed on the information in these areas:
    • What Do We Do In This Class?
    • Books And More
    • Details of Assignments and Activites
    • Course Policies
    • Tips For Newbies

Now The Work Begins!

During this first week of class you must complete the following.

  • Write an introduction to yourself. Chick the word "Introduction" that follows for instructions on how to do this. Introduction.
  • Take a For Real Quiz on the course information. Chick the word "Quiz" that follows for instructions on how to do this. Quiz.
  • Download the free PowerPoint Viewer. If you don't already have a newer version of PowerPoint on your computer. Click the appropriate link that follows for instructions on how to do this.

After Completing This Page

You should have enough experience to navigate the course. All instruction material from here on, is located in the Course Instruction menu item on your screen's left.

Click on Course Instruction. Then click on NewsEdge and Chapter Resources to explore what they have to offer. Next click on Unit 1 Module 1 to begin your studies.

Always post your discussion in the Discussion & Email section under the correct group. It is just like you did with your introduction.

Always go to the Quizzes & Exams section to take the ones that count for grade. It is just like you did with Quiz 0.
