INSTRUCTIONS FOR ONLINE MATH 80, 82, 38-A, 38-B, 1, 2
TO LOG INTO ALL ONLINE CLASSES go to TNINKWELL
1. To take the class you need an access code to THINKWELL.COM website.
Please, buy:
"Beginning Algebra" for Math 80;
"Intermediate Algebra" for Math 82;
"Precalculus" for both Math 38-A and 38-B (covers 2 semesters);
"Calculus" for both Math 1 and Math 2 (covers 2 semesters);
2. No code from instructor is needed. Returning students can use their old code. For all technical issues including registering, retaking classes and
using one code for both Math 01/02, 38-A/B contact Thinkwell technical support at techsupport@thinkwell.com .
3. Follow the instructions on the card to register for the class at THINKWELL.COM You HAVE TO register ASAP not to get dropped.
4. Log on to THINKWELL.COM to access VIDEOS, NOTES, ANNIMATIONS, TRANSCRIPTS, HOMEWORK AND EXAMS. This is the site
where you do homework (Thinkwell Exercises for every subchapter and topic in "Course Home") after watching the lecture and take all EXAMS.
5. Syllabus and Class Schedule are located in "Resources" area at THINKWELL.COM. Grading policy is also described in detail in "Course
Information" area. All you need to know about the class is in the ANNOUNCEMENTS section, check it often.
6. Quizzes and tests MUST be taken EVERY WEEK and are due at midnight CENTRAL TIME (10:00 p.m. Pacific Time) on the due date.
I will not reset exams, since the answer key becomes available the day after the due date. If you have to miss an exam due to special
circumstances, please, contact me BEFORE THE DUE DATE at
7. Please, make sure your email address is up to date and working, update your contact information at THINKWELL.COM immediately if it
changes. Check your email regularly for important class info.
