"Mathematica" can not evaluate general limits in 2 variables, but it can hold one variable fixed, 
take the limit in the other variable and then do the limit in the first variable. Typically, this gives the 
same answer as taking general limit, but no guarantee - see "Warning Example" where oder matters.
