Laboratory Manual for Survey of Biology

This book is needed for the first lab day.

This is the laboratory manual for the course. Take some time and notice its layout. Also notice that there is an extensive index which will help you easily locate topics AND answers to crosswords if you are uncertain of spellings.

How To Use The Manual

1. Read the entire chapter including the procedure.

2. Complete the Crossword. All crosswords due upon arrival according to schedule..

3. Complete the Questions section. Retain all questions as part of your preparation for examinations - they will be due at the end of the session on the day of the final along with all crosswords and procedures.

Note: The Procedures will be conducted in the lab. However, there are often parts of the procedure, calculations for example, which you should do before lab so that you don't run out of time in the lab. Retain and study all questions and procedures in preparation for examinations.
