Chapter 1 - "Metric System" in Exploring the Natural World laboratory manual

*Pick up a Zip-Lock bag for the collection of a soil sample. Refer to page 47 in lab manual for specific instructions on collecting and drying the lab sample.

Establish a study group before leaving lab today. Write the names of your group on a piece of paper and hand to me before leaving. Try to get 3 to 5 members in your group.

Crossword 1 to slotted drawer before start of class. If you are having trouble finding a word don't forget to check the procedure or illustrations. If all else fails you can ask me before class and I will help you with the answer. This is the way I take roll. If you don't hand in a crossword I assume that you are absent.

Questions 1 completed and behind the 2nd tab in your 1.5" hardback 3-ring binder. Answers to questions are posted to check your answers. Do not copy - just check your answers. Always use your own wording, not mine when answering your questions.

Procedure 1 removed from lab manual and inserted after the 3rd tab in your 3-ring binder. The first page of the Procedure will be stamped at the start of lab.
