MINUTES OF THE REGULAR BOARD MEETING

The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the San Joaquin Delta Community College District was held on Tuesday, October 19, 2004, at 5:45 p.m. Closed Session and 6:30 p.m. Public Meeting, in the Board Room, Administration 103, 5151 Pacific Ave., Stockton, California.

The Board meeting was called to order at 5:45 p.m. by Board President Anthony E. Bugarin.

There were no comments from the public.

Recess to Closed Session
Trustee Rivera moved and seconded by Trustee Parises to recess to Closed Session to discuss matters pursuant to Government Code Section 54957 and 54957.6. Vote: 5/0; motion carried.

Trustee Rivera led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Communications
1.Public Comments.
Duc Vo and Tina Dang provided the Board with a flyer for the Eighth Asian and Pacific Islander Youth Leadership Conference to be held on Saturday, November 6, 2004. Mr. Vo and Ms. Dang thanked the Board for supporting the conference.

CSEA President Pat Putman addressed the Board regarding the unsettled CSEA contract and indicated that they would like to make progress in settling the contract.
