MINUTES OF THE REGULAR BOARD MEETING
Tuesday, March 23, 2004

The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the San Joaquin Delta Community College District was held on Tuesday, March 23, 2004, at 5:45 p.m. Closed Session and 6:30 p.m. Public Meeting, in the Board Room, Administration 103, 5151 Pacific Ave., Stockton, California.

The Board meeting was called to order at 5:45 p.m. by Board President Anthony E. Bugarin.

There were no comments from the public.

Recess to Closed Session
Trustee Burke moved and seconded by Trustee Serna to recess to Closed Session to discuss matters pursuant to Government Code Section 54957, 54957.6, and Education Code Section 76030 and 66017. Vote: 5/0; motion carried. Trustee Rivera arrived during closed session. After closed session, Trustee Rivera left to attend her aunt's funeral.

On voice vote, Board President Bugarin reconvened the
meeting at 6:41 p.m. with the following to report:

Following a review of all materials, and certifying that District due process procedures have been followed, the Board of Trustees, pursuant to Education Code Section 76030 and 66017 has determined that the student named in case #04-01 be expelled from the San Joaquin Delta College District with a vote of 6/0.
