MINUTES OF THE REGULAR BOARD MEETING
Tuesday, March 9, 2004

The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the San Joaquin Delta Community College District was held on Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at 5:45 p.m. Closed Session and 6:30 p.m. Public Meeting, in the Board Room, Administration 103, 5151 Pacific Ave., Stockton, California.

The Board meeting was called to order at 5:45 p.m. by Board President Anthony E. Bugarin.

There were no comments from the public.

Recess to Closed Session
Trustee Simas moved and seconded by Trustee Serna to recess to Closed Session to discuss matters pursuant to Government Code Section 54957, 54957.6, 54956.9 and 910. Vote: 6/0; motion carried.

IV. Reconvene Public Session
On voice vote, Board President Bugarin reconvened the
meeting at 6:40 p.m. with the following to report:

Pursuant to Education Code section 72411, 8716, and 87740, the Board voted 6/0 to authorized Superintendent Rodríguez to issue each management staff member, whose position is currently funded by categorical dollars, the required notice that he/she may be released from his/her administrative position effective June 30, 2004. The management staff positions affected are as follows:

CalWORKs Project Director
Director, Small Business Development Center
Foster Care/ILP Coordinator
Project Coordinator - Americorp
Project Coordinator - CalWORKs/WorkNet
Project Coordinator - CAN/Psychiatric Technician Initiative Project Coordinator - High School Equivalency Program Project Coordinator - MESA Program
Project Director - Teacher and Reading Development
