The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the San Joaquin Delta Community College District
was held on Tuesday, March 11, 2003, at 5:45 p.m. Closed Session and 6:30 p.m. Public Meeting, in
the Board Room, Administration 103, 5151 Pacific Ave., Stockton, California.

Called to Order
The Board meeting was called to order at 5:45 p.m. by Board
President Dan S. Parises.
Recess to Closed Session
Trustee Bugarin moved and seconded by Trustee Burke to
recess to Closed Session to discuss matters pursuant to
Government Code Section 54957 and 54957.6. Vote: 7/0;
motion carried.
Reconvene Public Session
On voice vote, Board President Parises reconvened the
meeting at 6:32 p.m. with the following to report:
Pursuant to Education Code section 72411, the Board has
authorized Superintendent/President Rodríguez to issue each
administrator in the District who requires notification under
Education Code section 72411 that he/she will be released
from his/her administrative position effective July 1, 2003. The
administrative positions affected are as follows:
1)Vice President of Student Services
2)Associate Dean (Director) Tracy Learning Center
3)Dean of Instruction for Arts & Sciences
4) Dean of Instruction for Instructional Development &
Regional Ed.
5)Dean of Instruction for Vocational Ed. & Econ. Devlp.
6)Director of Disabled Student Services
7)Director of EOPS
8)Director of Guidance & Counseling
9)Division Chair Applied Science & Technology
10) Assistant Division Chair for Applied Science & Technology
11) Assistant Division Chair for Communication Skills
12) Division Chair, Business
13) Division Chair, Communication Skills
14) Coordinator of Public Safety
