Closed Session
It is recommended that the Board recess to closed session for the purpose of
discussing personnel matters pursuant to Government Code Section 54957, and
for the purpose of receiving advice from legal counsel regarding significant
exposure to litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(b)(1), and
for the purpose of conferring with the Board's representatives regarding collective
bargaining matters pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6.
1. Approval of Closed Session Minutes:June 19, 2001.
2. Consideration of Employment of Adjunct Faculty.
The Board will consider employment of adjunct instructors subject to
sufficient enrollment in the classes to which they will be assigned.

Consideration of Interim Appointment of Dean of Planning, Research and
Grants Development.
Presentation of Collective Bargaining Interests By The San Joaquin Delta
College Peace Officers Association (POA) and the San Joaquin Delta
Community College District.
The Board will receive the collective bargaining interests of the San Joaquin
Delta Peace Officers Association and the San Joaquin Delta Community
College District and schedule a public hearing on the proposal for the next
regular meeting on August 14, 2001.
