It is recommended that the Board recess to closed session for the purpose of discussing personnel matters pursuant to Government Code Section 54957, and for the purpose of receiving advice from legal counsel regarding significant exposure to litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(b)(1), and for the purpose of conferring with the Board's representatives regarding collective bargaining matters pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6.

Approval of Closed Session Minutes, December 5 and 15, 2000.

2.Consideration of Employment of Adjunct Faculty.
The Board will consider employment of adjunct instructors subject to sufficient
enrollment in the classes to which they will be assigned.

Consideration of Appointment of Director of Facilities Management. The Board will consider accepting the recommendation for appointment to the position of Director of Facilities Management effective January 17, 2001, or as soon as possible thereafter.
