It is recommended that the Board recess to closed session for the purpose of
discussing personnel matters pursuant to Government Code Section 54957, and
for the purpose of receiving advice from legal counsel regarding significant
exposure to litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(b)(1), and
for the purpose of conferring with the Board's representatives regarding collective
bargaining matters pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6.
1. Approval of Closed Session Minutes:May 2, 2000.
2. Consideration of Employment of Adjunct Faculty.
The Board will consider employment of adjunct instructors subject to
sufficient enrollment in the classes to which they will be assigned.

Consideration of Appointment of Dean of Instruction for Arts and Sciences.
The Board will consider accepting the recommendation for appointment to
the position of Dean of Instruction for Arts and Sciences effective May 17,
2000, or as soon as possible thereafter.

4. Consideration of Employment of First Contract Faculty.
The Board will consider appointing David Dodson as a first contract
employee for the Agricultural Production/Natural Resources Instructor,
effective August 15, 2000. The Board will further consider accepting the
recommendations for appointments to the positions of Learning Disabilities
Instructor and Mathematics Instructor, effective August 15, 2000.
