The college is committed to ensuring the safety of faculty, classified staff members and students. Therefore, in support of Board Policy and Administrative Procedure 5500, an incident report has been developed to assist faculty and classified staff in reporting incidents/confrontations that are in violation of the Standards of Conduct policy, but do not require immediate police presence and where there is no threat of force or violence. If there is an incident that occurs in a classroom, office or other area of the campus, please fill out an incident report and forward it to the Student Services office. The Student Services office will regularly supply each division office with Standards of Conduct brochures which contain the college policies in regards to student misconduct as well as the rights of faculty and classified staff members when such incidents occur. Safety of the campus population is of utmost importance, therefore, if there is a serious threat of violence, or behavior which causes a faculty member, classified staff, or student to fear for their safety, call campus police at ex. 5000.
