• A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university is mandatory. An earned doctorate is preferred.
  
• Successful senior level administrative experience in a similar or reasonably related organization of complexity.  Experience as a college level Superintendent preferred.
  
• Evidence of sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, ability, and ethnic backgrounds of the community college environment.
  
• Demonstrated successful interaction with board relations, shared governance groups, students, and with the community.
