Applicants will submit the following for review by the Search Committee:

1. A completed District employment application.
2. A letter of interest, not to exceed three pages, succinctly stating and giving specific examples of how the applicant would address the challenges and opportunities, and how he/she meets the desired characteristics and requirements.
3. A current resume that includes the names and telephone numbers (home and business) of eight references. These references shall consist of the following: two supervisors, two subordinates including one support staff member, two community members, and two faculty members. Preferably, references are to be from current and former institutions. References will not be contacted without the candidate’s permission.

Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. The Search Committee will determine who will be interviewed by mid August, 2012. The Search Committee will play an active role guiding the Board of Trustees in its selection.  Site visits may be conducted as part of the selection process.  Preferred starting date is January, 2013. Candidates who cannot make themselves available until a later date will be considered, but they are asked to indicate their date of availability.  The District offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience.  Final employment contract is subject to approval by the Board of Trustees.
