The San Joaquin Delta College Health Sciences Division consists of seven programs, each with its own time frame for completion and certification/licensing requirements.  If you enjoy working directly with people, health careers can provide a challenging, exciting work environment.  Please take a look at the department web pages, listed on the left, to learn more about the health sciences programs offered at Delta College.   

Important Note: ALL Applicants applying to Health Science programs MUST be enrolled as a current San Joaquin Delta College student and have an "active application" on file with Admissions and Records.  Applicants MUST know their Delta College ID Number and email address. To be current as a Delta College student, an "active application" must be on file with Delta College Admissions and Records. If a student has not attended Delta College for two or more semesters, then they do not have an "active application" and must reapply to Delta College. Any student who does not have an "active application" on file prior to the online application opening date will be unable to submit an application to the ADN program.

*** The Nurse Assistant Training (CNA) program will be accepting online applications starting Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at 9:00 a.m. through Thursday, May 30, 2013, until 5:00 p.m. Please return to the Nurse Assistant Training web site during the application dates to submit an online application to the program for the Fall 2013 class scheduled to start on September 3, 2013 ***

***Delta College will not offer an LVN program for the 2013-2014 year. Therefore, applications for the LVN program will not be available this year.  Please check this web site in Summer 2014 for information regarding resumption of the LVN program. Students who qualify for admission to the LVN program, also qualify for admission to the Psychiatric Technician program.***
