Kay King graduated with High Honors from San Joaquin Delta College, earned a Bachelor of Arts in French from the University of California at Berkeley, and holds a California Secondary Teaching Credential in French and History. In addition, she has completed numerous courses in Accounting.

Hired in 1980 to work in the Box Office, she was promoted to handle all Box Office operations in 1986. In 1997, she assumed the additional responsiblities of booking Warren Atherton Auditorium and Tillie Lewis Theatre.

When not working, she enjoys reading (especially Rex Stout's Nero Wolfe mysteries), cooking, music, tennis, and ballroom dancing with her husband Terry.
