The articulation process helps students advance from one educational level to the next without repetition of course content. Students involved in articulation agreements are often able to complete certificates and degrees in less time, resulting in a savings of time and money.
The Family, Consumer and Health Sciences Division has articulation agreements with many local high schools, regional occupational programs, and four year colleges and universities. High school students can earn college credit upon entering San Joaquin Delta College if they have completed specific high school courses with above average grades. Courses articulated with colleges and universities vary greatly depending on the type of programs offered. To find out which schools have courses articulated with the Family, Consumer and Health Sciences Division refer to the List of Articulated Courses in the latest San Joaquin Delta College Catalog.
Specific requirements for a Bachelor's Degree will vary depending on the four year college to which you plan to transfer. It is highly recommended that you refer to the University Transfer Requirements list in the San Joaquin Delta College Catalog and the specific requirements of the college where you plan to receive your Bachelor's Degree. To review specific transfer and course requirements, schedule an appointment with a San Joaquin Delta College guidance counselor in Danner 205. Their phone number is (209) 954-5650.
