WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD COACHING STAFF Head Coach, Jesus Reyes Jesus Reyes returns for his fourth year on the Delta staff. Jesus brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience to his job. He just completed his second season with the Stockton Lightning where he has coached four professional wide receivers to All-Arena Honors. Amongst his players, he is affectionately referred to as "The Peoples Coach". As a player, Jesus Reyes has an impressive background. He played football and ran track his freshman year at Northern Arizona University where he earned Newcomer of the year to the Big Sky and Co-MVP Honors in football. He also finished second in the Big Sky Track Championships in the indoor 50 meter dash. Jesus then transferred to Mount San Antonio College in Walnut, California. He later finished his collegiate career playing at San Diego State University (infamous for their successful wide receiver play) garnering many honors as member of the tradition rich receiving corp called the "Wideouts". After completing his collegiate career, Jesus played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and the Ottawa Renegades of the Canadian Football League. He received All-AFL2 honors with the San Diego Riptide. He also spent time with the Arizona Rattlers, New Jersey Red Dogs of the Arena Football League, and the San Francisco Forty-Niners. He and his wife Michaela reside in Morada with their dogs Lola & Sam.
