2009 MEN'S & WOMEN'S SWIMMING & DIVING Returning All-American and State Finalists Jordan Litz & Nick Fadden lead the Delta Swim Team to what should be an exciting 2009 campaign.
The women's swim team has 20 new athlete's in the program and should be anchored by Candance Valenzula (IM, BR, Fly - Lodi, HS- Linden, CA) Lindsay Smith (Dist. FR - Lincoln HS - Stockton, CA) & Amanda Carter (Dive - Lodi HS, Lodi, CA). With 20 new faces it will be a while before Coach Maroney really gets a feel for what this Women's Team can accomplish. However, the early indicators all point to a strong season for the lady mustangs. The Men's team is lead by Team Captains Kevin Walton (Fly, IM - Lodi HS, Lodi, CA) Jordan Litz (IM, BR - Lodi, HS, Lodi, CA) & Nick Fadden (Sprint FR - Tracy HS, Tracy, CA). Newcomer Relay events and strong performances from key individual events will make the Delta Men's Team a force to be reckoned with in the Big 8 Conference and at the State Championships in April. |
