Que Ngo

Que K. Ngo enters his sixth season as part of the Delta College Women’s Basketball program, preparing the Mustangs for another State Tournament appearance.  Under head coach Gina Johnson, Que spent five years (2003-2008) helping lead the Mustangs to three California State Championship appearances (2004-2008), five consecutive Conference Championships, and Runner-Up in the State (2006).  Que has been a great addition to the Delta College staff with his vast experience in teaching fundamentals and knowledge of the game. 

Prior to joining the Mustang staff, Que spent ten seasons at the High School level as head girls basketball coach at Buchannan High School, Caruther High School, Del Campo High School, Folsom High School, and Lincoln High School in Stockton.

Que served as Director of the Stockton Mustangs Girl’s AAU Program since 2007 and the Head Coach of the 13U team that Finished 9th in the Nation last year in Rochester, Minnesota against some of the best team in the country. His program started with only one team in 2002 (6 players) to currently having five teams (9U- HS) and over 40 players in 2007. Que has continued to work extensively with youth development program in the Stockton area and year round personal training for children as young as 3rd grade to the high school level.

During Que’s short term as an AAU coach, he has had the unique opportunity to watch former players advance to the Division I level.  He is excited about the many players in his program that are standout basketball players in the Stockton area and have bright basketball futures ahead of them.

In addition to coaching, Que has been a basketball and volleyball official in the Sacramento area.  He currently teaches physical education at St. Lukes’ CES.  Que is a Lincoln High School graduate (1994) and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from Sacramento State University (2002).  He is single and resides in Elk Grove.
