                       Delta Players receive Top Honors

Jessica Dela Cruz was named the Big 8 MVP last week and placed on the California State 1st Team. Natalie Montes was also 1st Team All-Conference, in addition to being named to the Big 8 All-Academic team . Joining Montes with the Conference Academic Award are fellow sophomores Amaris Sanders and Patrice Hunter. Other Mustangs who were Big 8 honorable mention include sophomores Patrice Hunter, Ashante Reid and freshman Keisha Leggs.
