Personal: Lauran Johnson was born on June 14, 1990 to Lawrence and Gloria in Vallejo, California. She has 2 brothers whose names are Christopher and Larcell. When Lauren is not playing basketball she enjoys watching movies. Lauran would like to major in Business and would like to get an MBA. She would like to pursue a career in real estate and open up an activity center for youth in her neighborhood.

Prep Career: Lauran played Varsity Basketball all four years for Coach Shamone Warren at Vallejo High School from 2006-2008. As a senior she was named League MVP of the SCAC. Johnson was All-League both her junior and senior seasons. She helped lead her 2005 team to Vallejo's first CIF Section title. Lauran broke her high school triple jump record as a senior and advanced to State in the high jump. She was 1st Team All-League in the high jump and triple jump for four consecutive years in a row. Lauran finished 8th in the State in the high jump and will look to continue her track career at Delta.
