Personal: Lanajia Ernest was born August 5, 1990 to Naketta Elizonda in Stockton, California. She has 2 siblings whose names are Christian (7) and Keiani (2). When Lanajia is not playing basketball she enjoys shopping, relaxing, and hanging out with friends. Lanajia would like to major in Sports Medicine and would like to get a BS after Delta. She plans to transfer to a 4-year university and become an athletic trainer.

Prep Career:  Lanajia played two years of Varsity Basketball for Coach Joe Rollings at Sheldon High School in Sacramento.  She averaged 10 points and 5.8 assists as a senior for the Huskies in 2007-08.  As a sophomore Lanajia played at Lincoln High School in Stockton and earned All-League honors.  As a senior in 2008 she was asked to play in the Sacramento Optimist All-Star game.
