Prep Career:  Ashlea played two years of Varsity basketball at Shady Grove High School for Coach Lindell Singleton during her sophomore (2005) and junior (2006) seasons.  She started as point guard her junior year and was First Team All-District (TAPPS 2A) and All-tournament to a number of pre-season tournaments.  Ashlea transferred to Colleyville Covenant and played for Ray Debord during her senior year.  She was forced to  sit out her senior season because of a season ending knee injury on the second game of the season.

Personal:  Ashlea was born to Darlyn Estwick on September 12, 1988 in Dallas, Texas.  She began playing basketball with her brother Courtney when she was 8 years old.   Ashlea has been forced to watch on the sidelines because of her knee injury.  She looks forward to rehabilitating it this year and building strength in 2008.  Although a Texas native at heart, Ashlea has adjusted well to the California lifestyle.  When she is not in the basketball gym Ashlea enjoys sleeping, watching movies, and hanging out.  She would like to earn her AA degree at Delta and transfer to a university to pursue a degree in film editing.  She is eager to get healthy and get back in to basketball shape.
