Prep Career:  Ashante played Varisty basketball at Vanden High School for Coach Allison Johnson with fellow Mustang Jessica Cervantes.  As a senior Ashante was Honorable Mention All-League and led her Vanden team in steals. 

 

Personal:  Ashante was born on February 22, 1989 to Ronald and Rosalind Reid in Fairfield, California.  She enjoys playing sports, hanging out with friends and family, and going shopping when she is not playing basketball.  Her future goals include transferring to a four-year institution and becoming a nurse after graduation.
