                                 Delta beats Diablo Valley 101-34 to avenge their December loss. 

The Mustangs came out ready to play tonight shooting 42% from the field and hitting 13/24 from beyond the arc.  Anna Nguyen and Samantha Golston led the Lady Mustangs in scoring with 18 and 16 points each.  Chezla Self and Shianne Solomon each scored 13 and 12 for the Mustangs.  The sophomores controlled the perimeter shooting as Anna Nguyen, Kim Manlangit and Shianne Solomon all hit 3 - 3 point shots for Delta.  Kei-yana Cribbs Pearson led the team with six assists and also grabbed five rebounds.  Melayne Alexander grabbed a team-high of 7 rebounds as Delta outrebounded DVC 59-38.  This game was quite different from the December 3rd Place game of the Jocelyn Mancebo Classic.  The Lady Mustangs played like they had something to prove.  Their next game is Tuesday, January 10th vs. Modesto JC in Modesto at 5:30pm.
