San Joaquin Delta College has recently renovated its entire athletic complex. Changes include new synthetic turf football, baseball and softball fields, olympic class resurfaced track and a new bermuda soccer field. The Delta Baseball Team began play in 2008 on its newly renovated synthetic FIELD turf facility. Nick Cecchetti Field is one of the finest facilities in Northern California.  The field features 80 ft. dugouts, a new 36 ft scoreboard, handicapped seating, 300 chairback seats, 2 visitors bullpens, 3 home bullpens, 3 retractable batting tunnels with 2 Iron Mike Pitching Machines, and a powerful watering system which is used to cool the turf on those hot days.
