Upon successful completion of the Fire Science Program, the student demonstrates skills, knowledge and training for a position in the fire science field. The student will demonstrate their ability to recognize and understand the concepts and terminology that are needed to understand the fire service.

This program offers the option to earn a Certificate or an Associate of Science Degree. Upon successful completion of the Associate in Science Degree Fire Science, the student will be able to demonsrate skills for the full-fillment of the lower-division requirements for any accredited baccalaureate institution, preparation for participation in the Basic Fire Fighter Academy, and a job in law enforcement.
