JOB DESCRIPTION (duties & responsibilities):
Members will work as tutors in selected kindergarten- 6th grade classrooms.
Members will complete either 450 or 225 hours of tutoring & training.
Must attend weekly class ( Friday 2-3:30)
Classrooms will be in Stockton, Lodi, or Manteca Unified School District.
Members will participate in 3 service days.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be level 2 reading and have a GPA of 2.75.
Must pass fingerprint clearance (no charge to student).
Must have a current negative T.B. test. (no charge to student)
Must be 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED.
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident legal alien.
And must have an interest in teaching children.
NOTES ON THE ABOVE:
Course requirements -
Students will enroll in liberal studies classes to meet transfer requirements to CSU.
