To provide basic clerical support for the AFFIRM Project; to maintain various files and records; and to perform a variety of tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility.
Essential Functions:
- Perform a wide variety of general clerical work including the maintenance of accurate and detailed logs and records; verify the accuracy of information received; research and correct discrepancies; record information.
- Act as a receptionist; answer the telephone and assist AFFIRM students and the general public, providing information on the AFFIRM Project.
- Word process special reports, handouts, or project data.
- Provide applicable forms to AFFIRM students and the public as needed.
- Type, word process and proofread a variety of documents including general correspondece, meeting minutes, agendas, reports, statistical charts from rough draft, recordings or verbal instruction; ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Operate a variety of office equipment including copiers, facsimile machines and computers; input and retrieve data and text; organize and maintain disk storage and filing systems.
- Maintain, receive and organize materials and supplies; pick up and deliver materials from various offices as required.
- Distribute incoming and outgoing mail; prepare bulk mailing as assigned.
- Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
