You must respond to the FWS Flyer and turn in all FWS documents including an FWS Referral and Contract for the new school year.

When can I start working?

You may start work until your hiring Department receives an email from Financial Aid stating you are approved for the school year.

I’m a NEW student how do I get started?

You need to have a completed Financial Aid File with Delta College. For more detailed information on the process send an email to finaid-workstudy@deltacollege.edu and we will send you line by line instructions.

When is the best time to apply and get an offer of FWS?

The FWS Programs is awarded on a first come first serve basis.

Step one: You must apply for Financial Aid as early as January if you can. You must mark that you are interested in the program.

Step two: You must do the Follow-up paperwork with Delta College by May.

Step three: You must respond to the FWS Flyer sent to you via Delta College email by the indicated deadline in June.

Step four: You must turn in all necessary documents by indicated deadline

I don’t see my FWS Award on the Awards tab for me what do I do?

Send an inquiry to finaid-workstudy@deltacollege.edu your name will be placed in the waiting list. If funds become available during the school year you will be notified via email.

How many hours can I work?

You may only work twenty hours a week and a maximum of 8 per day.

May I work overtime?

NO OVERTIME is allowed under any circumstances.

My Financial Aid File states I’m on Probation/Warning status, how does it affect my FWS Award?

You may only be awarded for one semester. If approved for the following term you must first check if we have funds available and file a new FWS Referral.

ONLY students who have an active award may view the listing.
