 Teacher Preparation Pipeline Program •Home
Eligibility

Any student enrolled at SJDC is encouraged to consider teaching as a career option.

If you have an interest in teaching math or science in a middle school or high school you are eligible

to participate in the paid work component of the Teacher Preparation Program.

The process for work includes an interview with the Teacher Preparation coordinator and an interview with the worksite principal and worksite supervisor.  Middle Schools and High Schools that participate in the worksite will help you gain an understanding of what the teaching experience involves.   Our goal is to prepare you for the reality of the classroom and to strengthen RETENTION of teachers who  begin complete the teacher preparation pathway.
