• Students attend Lab twice a week throughout the semeste.r
• Students who miss two or more consecutive sessions lose their scheduled time slot.
• Students can reschedule themselves after all waiting list students have been enrolled.

• Students may enroll for one unit or two units.
• Students are assigned to either the paragraph level or the essay level.
• Every student must complete the required number of hours and assignments to receive credit.
• Every assignment requires working through the writing process.

  • writing a fist draft
  • writing a second draft
  • completing a final draft
• Every assignment focuses on both global issues and surface issues.
  

DvEd120 writing tutoring by appointment

• Students may schedule only two appointments for each writing assignment.
• Appointments may not be on the same day.
• Three No-Shows removes students from tutoring for the rest of the semester.
  
• Bring your writing assignment with you to review with your tutor.
• Be prepared to revise your work.  Writing tutors do not proofread or edit your work. 
• The student will be given help in identifying the poritons of the paper that need to be revised, but must do the revising on their own.
