Frequently Asked Questions

Letisha

What can I do if the copy shop is closed, and I need a job the next morning?

We now have a convenient way to submit your Print Ready job from your own computer. This technology is called the Digital Store Front, and is available to all staff. The Digital Store Front can be accessed from your office or from your home, day or night, assuring you a priority slot in our daily production. Set-up for Digital Store Front is now available by contacting Andy Thomas at athomas@deltacollege.edu.

How long will my job take?

Our goal is to have your work back to you the same day you submit it. That being said, there are several high volume periods each year that make this very difficult. These periods usually happen a couple of weeks before a new semester begins, and last through the first week or two of classes.

We keep a machine open at all times for rush jobs, so if you have an emergency, please let us know. Be aware that with the number of customers we have, emergency print orders happen quite often. So even though you have notified us of the urgency of your job, you may still have to wait a bit during peak periods.

What hours are you open? Where are you?

We operate from 7:00 A.M. until 5:00 Monday Thru Thursday and from 7:00 A.M. until 4:30 on Fridays. We are located in Budd building room number 102.

Can I have one of my students submit and pick up work for me?

Absolutely, but for obvious reasons we will not allow students to submit or pick up Tests. If someone other than you is submitting a job on your behalf, they should place your name on the job ticket. When we place jobs on the shelf awaiting pickup, we shelf them in alphebetical order by the name on the job ticket.

I need to know how much my job costs before I commit to printing it. Can I get a quotation?

Yes, we are more than happy to provide you with a quote, just send an email to gvanover@deltacollege.edu with the appropriate information such as quantity, type and size of the paper, is the copy 1 color or multicolor, does it fold, etc. You are also welcome to call 5899 and ask for Gil if you need assistance.

I have a problem with my copier or printer, do you handle that?

We sure do! Take a look at this link for more info. Campus Copiers and Printers
