Do you folks take care of campus copiers? What should I do if I have a problem?
San Joaquin Delta College maintains a fleet of over 300 copiers and printers. Several years ago, a decision was made to centralize the managment of these devices in the Publication Center. This was done in order to gain efficiency with regard to managing maintenance agreements, purchasing supplies, and standardizing our proceedure for new acquisitions.
The vast majority of devices are now under service contracts. In order to see if your device is under contract, look at the front of the machine. If your machine is on contract, there will be a sticker on the front of it instructing you how to proceed for service issues. If you require service, just follow the instructions right on the front of the machine. If you follow the instructions, and for some reason, don't get resolution to your problem, please e-mail Andy Thomas at email@example.com.
For all printer/copier supplies including paper, please use our on line order system DPC (Digital Print Center).
If for some reason, your machine doesn't have a sticker on the front with service instructions, please e-mail Andy Thomas at firstname.lastname@example.org for service related issues.
Remember, there are several hundred machines on campus and only one tech in the Publication Center. We ask that before you contact us, if you have a sticker on your equipment, you follow the instructions on the front of the machine to place a service call to the vendor.
