Dr. Alfredo Quinones-Hinojosa

Internationally recognized brain surgeon at Johns Hopkins University and Delta College graduate.

He will be sharing his message about the importance of education and how it changed his life, how he rose from farm laborer working the fields of the Central Valley, to graduation from Harvard Medical School!  We will be giving away 100 copies of Dr. Q’s book following the presentation, and we will have additional copies on hand that can be purchased.  He will be available to autograph books and talk with students and guests from 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Limited copies of his new book, "Becoming Dr. Q: My Journey from Migrant Farm Worker to Brain Surgeon," will be available for purchase for $27.60 prior to the event.
