If you are enrolled in the Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) Program, you are eligible to receive tutoring from NSC.

Our tutoring program consists of two formats: On-site and Off-site.  Read the information below to find out more. What is On-site Tutoring? 
On-site Tutoring is available on a walk-in basis at our designated location on campus. During scheduled hours, a tutor(s) will be available for a scheduled block of time to conduct either an Open Review, Study Group, or One-on-One tutoring (depending on the number of students). 

      Here are some important points about On-site Tutoring:  

• Available to all Delta College ADN nursing students as space allows
• Designated time and location on campus
• Schedules will be posted on this page weekly(usually updated on Friday for the coming week)
• No referral needed, JUST WALK-IN
• A time log is required for each student and will be kept at the tutoring site
• Students will not be assigned a specific tutor
• All tutoring guidelines and classroom rules have to be observed                                     

What is Off-site Tutoring?
Off-site Tutoring is for those nursing students who meet one or more of the following criteria:

• Received an Academic Referral from an instructor
• Current grade average is 75% or below in a class
• Scored < 75% on any exams
• Re-entry students
• DSPS students
• Students undergoing remediation

Student will have to meet with our Resource Specialist to request a referral.  Off-site Tutoring is dependent on tutor availability and therefore may not always be accommodated.  Once Off-site Tutoring has been approved, it is up to the student and tutor to work out a designated place and time for tutoring; this may be on or off campus. Additional guidelines apply.
