| The Department of Music at San Joaquin Delta College provides the highest level of opportunity for students to pursue their educational goals. The faculty has devised a stimulating curriculum that serves to develop skills in musical performance as well as academic preparation for continued study and lifelong learning.
The College and specifically the music program are extremely highly regarded among their peers and in the academic community. The Department of Music has assumed a leadership role among community colleges for its innovative approaches to offering comprehensive opportunities for students majoring in music, for those pursuing general education preparation, and for supporting the needs of a musically active community.
