Why choose our Kinesiology program?
Kinesiology is the study of the role of movement in the human body and how it works in sport activities. The primary focus of the kinesiology faculty is the education of students toward lifelong development of physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially fit human beings through physical activities. The following courses are offered in support of this goal:
Athletics Health Education Physical Education Activity Physical Education Theory
Kinesiology programs are usually found at colleges and universities; they include bachelors, masters, and doctoral degree programs. Students who plan to teach physical education in elementary, middle or secondary schools may need to obtain a California Teaching Credential.

Kinesiology, Associate in Arts for Transfer
Physical Education, Associate in Science
Fitness Specialist Certificate
Coaching Certificate
Those who are pursuing a career may choose to complete a certificate or an Associate in Arts degree and then transfer to a California State University (CSU) with a major in kinesiology.
