What should I do first?
If you are new to Delta College, you must apply for Admission to the college before enrolling in classes.
Application must be completed online.
You can do this online from home or at a following location:
On-line applications are processed within 24 hours after receipt of the completed Signature Page. Applications must be completed Online.
The Financial Aid & Veterans Office provides information on grants, fee waivers, scholarships, work-study (FWS) and veterans benefits.

First time students are provided with a brief orientation prior to their assessment. The assessment orientation will explain the assessment process and meaning of the test scores in course enrollment. Information on the next steps in orientation and registration will also be covered. After assessment, all matriculated stuidents (those wanting priority registration credit) are expected to enroll in an orientation class.
Our Orientation Services are designed to introduce students to college requirements and expectations, student support services and first year planning.
A NEW STUDENT is someone who has never attended college and/or are enrolling in their first semester at Delta.
New students must attend a mandatory orientation, referred to a NSGA
New Student Group Advising session, in order to maintain enrollment priority.
You must completed an Assessment Compass Evaluation (ACE) prior to attending NSGA.

Registration means enrolling in courses. Registrationmust be completed online. For assistance in selecting courses, please refer to Schedule of Classes.
Continuing students are encouraged to schedule an appointment to see a counselor before the completion of 15 semester units to develop a comprehensive Student Education Plan (SEP) that serves as a guide towards desired academic goal.
Educational goals may change throughout a student’s academic journey at the college, which will require a follow-up counselor appointment for an “updated” or “revised” student educational plan.
