Verification of Enrollment
A Verification of Enrollment is a certificate provided to the student showing the enrollment status for the current semester. Enrollment status is defined as full-time, three-quarters time, half-time, or less than half time. Verification of Enrollment are commonly requested by insurance or child care providers, employers, etc.

To request a Verification of Enrollment through the National Student Clearinghouse, please log into Student Records.

The Admissions & Records Office offers the following services for Verification of Enrollment ordering:

Pursuant to CA Education Code Section 76223, "that no charge shall be made for furnishing up to two verifications of various records of students ..." Therefore, students are entitled to receive two free Verification of Enrollment.

Important Information Concerning Verification of Enrollment Ordering

Things to keep in mind before ordering yourVerification of Enrollment:

  • The Admissions & Records Office does not accept phone or fax requests.
  • All outstanding fees must be paid and all administrative or academic holds that prohibit access to student records must be cleared before requesting a transcript. To check fees and hold status, log into Student Records.
  • Grade-point-averages, previous terms, degrees, certificates, and graduation information are not included on a Verification of Enrollment. For this information, an official transcript must be requested. Please see Official Transcripts.
Requesting Verification of Enrollment ONLINE
Delta College has retained the National Student Clearinghouse to accept Verification of Enrollment requests through their secured site.

  • No Hassle - No need to fill out request forms; no need to mail anything.

Requesting Verification of Enrollment IN PERSON
To request a Verification of Enrollment in person, the student must complete the Verification of Enrollment Form and pay the applicable fee. This request will be processed within 3-5 business days after receipt and are either:
  • Complete the Verification of Enrollment Form. If you are requesting a Verification of Enrollment to be sent to multiple addresses, you must submit separate Verification of Enrollment Forms for each "Sent to" address. Failure to do so, may result in a delay in processing.
  • Submit the request form and payment:
    • In Person - Admissions & Records Service Window located in the DeRicco Student Services Building. Monday-Thursday 9am-4pm, closed Friday OR
    • By Mail -

  • Verifications requiring a Delta College Letter are $5.00 per copy
  • Verifications requiring Special Handling Forms to be completed are $10.00 per copy
  • Ready for pick-up at the Admissions & Records Service Window
    • Email will be sent to Student Email when form is ready for pick up
    • Pick up is available the following Monday through Thursday.  Verifications not picked up by Thursday will be mailed on Friday to the address provided by the student.

Requesting Verification of Enrollment BY MAIL
To request a Verification of Enrollment by mail, the student must complete the Verification of Enrollment Form and pay the applicable fee. This request will be processed within 3-5 business days after receipt and are either:

Requesting Verification of Enrollment ON DEMAND

Effective, Monday, March 4, 2013, students may request a verification on demand at the Admissions and Records Service Window.  The Verification of Enrollment will be produced while the student waits.  Here are the details:

  • “Special Handling” forms are not available via this service.
  • Cost is $10 per Verification of Enrollment
  • Payment must be made by cash, money order or check.  We do not accept credit or debit cards at the service windows.
  • Verification of Enrollment are released only to the student of record with picture ID.  Verification of Enrollment will not be released to second party individuals.

Admissions and Records, DeRicco Student Services Building, is open Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

Requesting Verification of Enrollment RUSH
To request a RUSH Verification of Enrollment in person or by mail, the student must complete the Verification of Enrollment Form and pay the applicable fee. This request will be processed the next business day after receipt and mailed first-class to the address provided by the student.

Seasonal Campus Closure
During campus closures, orders that are received during the closure period will be processed in the order received when campus reopens.
