General Education Certification
Students transferring to a California State University (CSU) or University of California (UC) can have General Education courses certified by the Evaluations Office in Holt 101. General Education Certification may be requested AFTER the student has been accepted for admission to the CSU or UC to which transfer is planned. The request should be submitted during the last few weeks of the last semester at San Joaquin Delta College.

Certification will include courses completed at previous colleges IF the official transcripts are on file in the Evaluations Office. Official transcripts must come to the Evaluations Office in sealed envelopes directly from the other college(s).

The IGETC pattern is accepted at both the CSU and UC institutions. The CSU pattern is accepted only by the CSU institutions.

To request GE Certification through In Person or By Mail, please download and complete the General Education Certification Form and submit:

  • In Person - Admissions & Records Service Window located in the DeRicco Student Services Building. Monday-Thursday 9am-4pm, closed Friday OR
