Delta College is in full swing as it relates to high school recruitment. To date, we are at many of your local high schools recruiting your students through our admissions presentations. With this in mind, we would like to thank you for your continued collaboration with Delta College. Included in this semesters website is information on local high school collaborations and also our recruitment events at your local high schools. Delta College High School Counselors Pilot Project
Some of you may have heard about the exciting pilot project that Delta has underway during Spring Semester. We are using matriculation funds (categorical state funding) to experiment with an idea to use high school counselors as Delta Counselors - on site at their schools to provide assistance with admissions, assessment, counseling and orientation. Four schools are signed onto this program during Spring:

- Edison - Jeff Lee
- Stagg - Andres Uyeda
- Weber Institute - Diane Arguijo
The results, so far have been very positive. Each school/counselor has taken a slightly different approach. However, it seems that when all is said and done we will have helped many, many students avoid the last minute Summer rush of on campus enrollment issues. Lets' keep our * fingers crossed on the funding. More to come!
