Research shows that completion of Guidance classes leads to greater success in school.

Students receive Priority Registration Points to insure earlier registration for classes.

Academic Alert is used to identify students who are having difficulties in a given course.

Students may be identified for Academic Alert for a variety of reasons, including:

• Excessive Absences and/or Tardiness

• LowTest/Quiz/and Assignment scores Tutoring)

• Not Completing Homework or Needs Make-Up Exam

• At Risk of Being Dropped From Class(es)

• Has Never Attended Class

• Student not at course level or in need of Basic Skills
