VA Vocational Rehabilitation Online

For Educational Benefits:

1. Go to www.gibill.va.gov
   
2. Click on Apply Online
   
3. Highlight Education
   
4. Click on Instructions for Filling out Applications
   It is advisable to read the instructions for filling out the application, and then click on Filling out a VA Form 22-1990, Application For Education Benefits , you can also see a list of any other documentation you may need to submit to the VA.

Complete and submit! In approximately 3 weeks, you should receive a Certificate of Eligibility. Take the certificate along with a copy of your DD214 to the Veterans’ Office at the school you plan to attend. The school will let you know if you need to do anything else.

For VA Vocational Rehabilitation
(must have at least a 10% service-connected disability)

1. Go to www.gibill.va.gov
   
2. Click on Apply Online
   
3. Highlight Vocational Rehab and Employment
   
4. Click on Instructions for Filling out Applications
   Again, it is advisable to read the instructions for filling out the application, and then click on Filling out a VA Form 28-1900, Disabled Veteran’s Application for Vocational Rehabilitation, you can see the basic entitlement requirements and a brief summary of the entire process. Expect the process from start to finish to take anywhere from 3 weeks to 4 months.
