San Joaquin Delta College recently submitted its acknowledgement to comply with the Principles of Excellence, issued in Executive Order 13607, and signed by President Obama on April 27, 2012. Delta will be listed among the institutions committed to the Principles of Excellence in providing services to our nation’s Veterans, service members and dependents in the near future on the Department of Veterans Affairs’ website at http://www.gibill.va.gov/.

In compliance with our commitment we are in the process of moving and enhancing our Veterans Resource Center (VRC) which is dedicated to providing the highest level of services to Veterans and their families. The center utilizing a ‘Veterans Serving Veterans’ approach will ensure our service members, veterans, spouses, and other family members have the information they need to make informed decisions concerning their well-earned Federal military and veterans educational benefits.

Furthermore, we will inform those students who are eligible to receive Federal military and veterans educational benefits of the availability of Federal Financial aid and of their potential eligibility.
